StephanieFoongGetaway | Visiting the land I was born, HONG KONG 2013 Part 1

Hello there, I am back to share about my previous trip to Hong Kong. It was a 4 days 3 nights short trip as my dad was going to Guangzhou for some work for a day and my mom , sis and I was left alone in Hong Kong . But it doesn't really matter as my mom worked in Hong Kong for a few years, and that's why I was born in Hong Kong ! Stepping on the land where I was born makes me feel unique, because there are people who knows about me since I was born and the place was just loving enough for me to not forget. Even though their lifestyle was quite stressful but it was goood, without stress people wont really work hard ! For this trip, didn't really bought anything special as things there was expensive, we spent most of our time walking, eating, and taking MTR ! *Impressive speed* I guess that's what I wanna share about ! So, let the pictures do the talk ! (:




# DAY 1

This is us before leaving KL. We traveled by Cathay Pacific for this trip !

 So, this was when I arrive the land where I was born ! :) How impressive that the airport express link's coach that has a volume controller to control how loud the speaker to speak as your own opinion ! (lower left picture) The express travel pass is a useful thing to get if you are not going to stay in HKG for a long time, it's a dupe of the Octopus card. You get 2 free rides from and to the airport on the airport link and you get 3 days FOC of public transportation feeeeees, and it only cost HKD 300 for one and if you bring it back to the counter at the end of your trip, you would get a refund of 50 HKD ! (FYI, if i am not mistaken a single trip from to HKG link cost around 150 HKD) YAY. 

The morning and night view from le hotel ! We stayed at the Stanford Hotel which was located in Mong Kok. Fooooooooood and shoe stalls all around the hotel ! Convenient one, it cost us Rm400 a night in a tiny roooom, but dont expect tooo much of space to get in Hong KOng!

We went around out hotel to hunt down some street foooooooooooooooooood. And the Ice cream by the truck was superrrrr YUMMY !

And Day 1 was all about eating HAHA. So that concludes our day 1.

#DAY 2

Decided to wear my fav Birkenstock even it was winter because they are just way too comfy !

Went into YUEN LONG to meet our long time no see Mr. Fung and his family ! 

He cooked us delicious meals from what he bought in the maarket ! Enjoyed them to the max !

We left their place after luunch and head to Central to go for some sight seeing and meet my cousin sister at night for dinner !

After dinner, cousin sis, mom, sis and I head back to Central again to meet my aunt as she came toooo. We went for supper and that's all for these 2 days ! (:
